flamstead end golF society

 The Flamstead End Golf Society was created in October 2006 and consists of 18 holes of Stapleford Competition plus "nearest the pin" and a "longest drive" competition. Winners receive cash prizes and the overall Stapleford winner collect the JP Classic Cup.

During the competition a small amount of cash is collected for non scoring hole penalties which all goes towards the isabelle hopsice. 

Six Golf days have been held so far with the society playing at clubs such as Great Hadham, Whitehills, Blakes, Manor of Groves and the Hertfordshire golf club. 

Dave Kenney became the 6th Different winner of the JP Classic Cup after a nail biting count back with the cup holder Ian Shorey. A low scoring day saw both players carding 34 points, but after countback Dave Kenney became the 6th different winner of the cup. Ian however took both nearest the pins, while Paul Pannell won his first title by taking the longest drive.
