The Longest Drive.......Competition

Every Flamsted End golf day all players are given a chance to flex theie muscles and get the guns out for the "Longest Drive Competition". A hole is chosen, sometimes with a wide open fairway, sometimes tight and narrow for the more accurate drive. The player who spanks that small white ball the furthest, keeping it on the fairway gets the honour of the Long Drive title. In addition to this honour and being the strongest player on the tou, every winner takes home a small amount of cash.

Chris Robinson sends down the Longest Drive at The Hertfordshire

Chris takes hit first title on a FEGS day. A rocket at the 9th sees him take home the title.

The Golf Club chose the 9th hole for us for our Longest drive competition. A fairly straight hole which took us towards the clubhouse and the half way burger hut.

Early on, lots of names appeared on the board but it was Chris Robinson
who took the accolade. Chris is known for his ability hook a ball more than any other. However this time around Chris monstered one straight down the fairway which nobody could compete with.
